Books & Trinkets [Tuesday, July 8th, 2008] thriftwhore [porcygloworm] I had a really lucky find today at the Goodwill bins, I picked up this 1961 (possibly a first edition) Golden biology book with illustrations by Charles Harper. Apparently this book is pretty hard to find, and can be quite expensive. I checked ebay, there is one copy that currently has a bid of $100, and the re-sellers on Amazon are all selling it for no less than $300, and up to $2300! Wow. Question [Monday, July 7th, 2008] girls_with_ink [rubyorabela] ( NSFW><< ) Recently I posted what I had added to my ship outline and I decided for sure that I want to extend it down to the top of my thigh. I want to add some orange and yellow roses along with my sea theme but I'm scared that I it will look out of place and dumb. Any suggestions on how to incorporate the roses? Edit:What I was thinking about doing was adding a Shark going after some overboard sailors with skeletons in the water and having sailors grave written in a banner at the bottom with the orange and yellow roses around it.
